Rhinos have roamed the earth for 50 million years, far longer than our meager 200,000 years, and in our lifetime, they are facing extinction from the current poaching crisis. The demand in China and Vietnam for rhino horns as a cure for various ailments and as a status symbol is threatening all five rhino species. Rhino horns have no medicinal properties.
